Rapid Transit is looking for a dependable and hardworking Local Truck Driver to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday and involves making local deliveries and pickups between Monroe, Rayville and our various company locations.

Rapid Transit is looking for a dependable and hardworking Local Truck Driver to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday and involves making local deliveries and pickups between Monroe, Rayville and our various company locations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive company trucks for local deliveries and pickups.
- Make regular runs between Monroe and Rayville
- Pick up and deliver supplies between our various Monroe area locations
- Load and unload your own truck
- Safely secure materials and supplies for transportations
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with employees, vendors, and customers
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working condition
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated
- 3 + years driving or delivery experience
- Ability to safely load and unload supplies
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Good driving record
- Ability to follow directions and complete deliveries on schedule
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
WHAT WE OFFER:

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
