About the Role:
OCM is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Blending Technician to join our manufacturing team in Monroe, LA. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a critical part in ensuring our products are crafted to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor blending equipment to mix materials according to established formulas and specifications
- Measure, weigh, and document raw materials accurately prior to blending
- Perform quality control checks throughout the blending process to ensure product consistency
- Maintain detailed batch records and production logs in compliance with standard operating procedures
- Clean, sanitize, and perform routine maintenance on blending equipment
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality issues to supervisors
- Follow all safety protocols, GMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements on the production floor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus
- Prior experience in a blending, mixing, or manufacturing production environment preferred
- Ability to read and follow formulas, work orders, and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and accuracy
- Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and calculating material quantities
- Familiarity with GMP, safety regulations, and proper PPE usage
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
